My husband and I had a last minute trip to the Osage Beach area we were trying to find something located right off Highway 54 with an in-suite jacuzzi tub that is why I picked this place and stayed on Wednesday night October 30, 2924. We knew that it was not a five-star hotel however the pictures and information were very deceiving. Also thought paying $140.00 per night we would get at the least a clean hotel and room that did not smell. When we 1st arrived and pulled into the parking lot the outside of building looked ran down. When entering the front doors to check in with front desk the doors and walls were dingy and dirty, but the smell was horrible. We over looked this and checked in and received our key. As I had booked online and already paid for the room. The front desk clerk explains to my husband that if there is any smoking or smells of smoking in the room they will charge his card additional $200.00. We take out key she explains that our room is accessible from back of building and we can park and enter there. We do so and unpon entering thru back door the smell smacked you in the face and was worse than it was up front. We open the door to room 118 ( jacuzzi suite king bed) old and dingy, and it smelled so bad. I'm not sure how to even explain the smell other than old water damage, wet rotten smell. Maybe mold, I'm not sure. However the smell was so bad it just stuck with you. As it was late and we needed the rest for the busy day we had ahead decide to just get some sleep. After a long restless night, i wake up feeling extremely sick. We pack and leave earlier than planned. My husband checked out with the front desk clear and explained our concern with smell in room, and questioning if we were breathing in mold all night. Her response was did this happen last night? Really are you kidding me lady? Wet mildew, mold smell takes time. As today is Friday November 1st i am just now writing this review because my husband and i are still feeling sick from our Wednesday night stay. We just want to let any and all others who think of staying here! Find another hotel. DO NOT WASTE your time or MONEY. I have never been so disappointed and physically sick with a hotel and or room, and for the money we spent.
