Red Carpet Motel in Edmond

I paid for a week. Didn't preview the room,, big mistake, it was a roach motel, disgusting. The last night there,, the room actually flooded, all of my belonging were soaked. No service. I am going to leave photos. I would have been better off staying in my car or a local shelter. There us a black mold issue in this building, I am still sick. When you are desperate for a place to stay....the county jail has better rooms. My son needed to stay a while and oh my o my. It's cheap, it's dirty, you get complimentary pets (roaches) with every room and the smell of marijuana throughout. You also get your occasional visits from the local PD as there's never a dull moment. Manager/owner is okay. 2 star only because it served its purpose and nothing more. This is the most nastiness Motel I have ever had to stay in. Especially because I have traveled extensively as a child, an adult being dependent in the military. I am 60 yrs. For the first 30 yrs of my life being a dependent. It's hard to explain the amount of Roaches that must be older than God. With many their generations that have followed all live here. The owners can't speak good English and are rude. They let women like me get assaulted outside in their parking. This is not a place that cares about your health or your safety. This is the worst roach infested flea ridden motel around don't go here it is awful. The staff didn't care or cleaned your sheets nothing and $65.00 a night is a joke. This motel really sucks. If I can do zero stars than I would. Yes the Edmond location should be shut down. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

Friendly staff, cheap if I remember was around $55-$60/night. Nice rooms, there was 1 issue that I talked to them about and it should be fine now. Seems to have a extended stay option as it has a whole kitchen and a good amount of space inside the room. I 100% fell in love with the tile on the bathtub walls.

Great service!!! Clean rooms!! Housekeeper helps and goes beyond her duties to make sure we are fully stocked and bathroom and living area she keeps clean! She is always smiling and helpful!!! Pictures are deceiving. There were roaches in the bathroom and around mini fridge, bedding was all stained, so was the carpet (had white crusty spots like it hasn’t been cleaned) and when we wiped down the toilet with a Clorox wipe it turned the wipe brown like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. When we went to the front desk to ask them for our money back the woman was very rude and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge our complaints and refused for a refund. 10 out of 10 would not recommend!! This is easily the worst motel i have ever stayed at. Me (21) and my girlfriend (20) called this motel, thursday jan 13th, looking for a 5 night option. The lady who answered the phone (neither of the owners) sounded very nice. We proceeded to ask “is this a safe place for two young girls to stay for a week” the girl on the phone proceeded to explain that this is a family business and if it wasn’t safe they wouldn’t allow their kids to live on the premises. our nerves were settled and we stopped our motel search here and booked our 5 nights at a $50 rate, bringing the total to $250. from the second we arrived we we were treated VERY poorly by both owners. we had trouble with our keys on multiple occasions, they had a hard time even helping us get a key that would work so we could safely get in our room, then was irritated and upset they had to replace the one that didn’t work. the second and third nights of our stay we had a random drunk man who apparently was not paying to stay at the motel knocking at our and other female stayers doors. we found out that the owners were fully aware of this situation/knowing we are two young female travelers and just allowed it to happen. us and other stayers had to call the police, and were unable to leave our room most of the trip due to lack of safety concern. day 3 of our stay we had ran out of towels and toilet paper. i visited the office once again, to find the very passive aggressive owner saying we just recieved a full service on our room and there would be toilet paper and new towels in our room. needless to say, nobody did a service on our room or brought us any toilet paper. with the consistent negative attitude towards me, i figured it was my girlfriends turn to give it a go. she went down and asked for toilet paper and was told “i just told your friend there was some up there” and they walked back into the back room again. we were left to wipe with tissues that we had brought from home. and use the one actual bath towel (other towels were small and very dirty) we had been given since we arrived. night number 3, we called to ask when our check out was. we knew it was tuesday because we had paid for 5 nights, but just wanted to confirm. the woman owner rudely told us to check out in the morning (1 day early) and hung up on us. the following morning my girlfriends mom who made the reservation on her card, called and talked to the male owner. he clarified that we would be checking out at 11am tuesday morning, not monday like his wife had said the night before. moments after her mom got off the phone with the male owner, the female owner was knocking at our door telling us we only paid for 4 nights and we need to leave. my girlfriend answered the door and explained we have talked to them multiple times, along with our mother and that we paid to stay here through tuesday since we paid their “weekly rate” and not just for 4. she also brought attention to the fact that we have still not received toilet paper or clean towels. the owner shouted at my girlfriend to the point she felt unsafe, and we had to close the door on her. we asked her through the door to please call my girlfriends mother because that was the card they had on file after our mom had already talked and explained to the male owner that he was speaking to my mother 5 times and not us. The female owner then came back to our door requesting that I write my moms number on paper because “we gave them the wrong number” after they had just talked to her. this motel is disgusting, unsafe, and ran/owned by a couple who needs a genuine lesson on how to be a decent human being to help other beings. we are very aware this is a motel, and we did not expect top tier service. we did however expect to be treated with kindness and respect by the people we are paying our money too, as well as feel safe and clean while we are here. none were the case. we will stay at motel 6 next time.
