When we arrived, our room was filthy and completely unacceptable. While we were at dinner, management repeatedly called to say their cleaners were not working and that we would need to come back, pack our belongings, and find another hotel. We cut dinner short to deal with this. One employee onsite was incredibly kind and found us a room for the night, promised to be free, but we did not get access to it until six hours after initially making the reservation. With a semi dirty room and no hot water. He was the only competent staff member we encountered.
Everything else was a disaster. Despite the promise, we were charged for the second room. When we raised this in the survey, nothing happened. When we called, we were met with a dismissive employee who fabricated details about our reservation and refused to acknowledge any error. Corporate finally said they would at least cover our ruined dinner, but even that $50 refund still has not gone through over a month later.
To summarize, we were at this hotel for less than 12 hours, forced to wait six hours for a replacement room that was promised to be free, charged anyway, and have spent weeks chasing refunds that never materialized. Completely unprofessional and mishandled at every step.
Stay anywhere else. It’s an embarrassment of a company and will promise money back they have no intention of repaying to save face in the moment. Fraudulent.
