Quality Inn in Toledo

I had an overall pleasant experience. The room felt like it could've been cleaned a bit more thoroughly, and I found some dried substances on the bathroom wall and some stains on the desk, but overall I enjoyed my stay. The staff at the front desk and breakfast area the morning I left were really friendly and kind.

Thank you for the nice customer service Jennifer & Nessy. BUT THIS PLACE is FILTHY. The floors were disgusting and had not been clean in a very long time. I wiped water off the bathroom floor after my shower. The white wash rag was BLACK and FILTHY. I brought it to the Managers attention. They said they could have housekeeping come in an clean it. Why in the first place was the room not cleaned when I arrived at 8:30pm on a Friday night. I had been traveling from Washington State to Toledo Ohio the last 7 day. My 2 dogs and myself stayed in several Holiday Inn & Express on our trip. They were all very nice and clean when we arrived. I told the manager I could not trust the housekeeping at Quality Inn, due to how I found my room upon arrival. I asked for something to clean my room with so the manager gave me 3 small wash rags & no cleaner ( i had asked for vinegar water. She did offer to move me to another room, why move me when my room is FILTHY I assume the rest are too. I told her I will clean it myself as for I can't trust that anyone knows what they are doing there. When I woke up Saturday morning I took a shower, when I got out of the shower there was water on the floor from me getting out. As I am a clean and neet person I wiped it up off the floor. That's when I found how disgusting the floor in room 102 ( right next to the entrance and desk to check in or out.) Not only was all of the floor gross and FILTHY so was the rest of the room. The TV was thick with dust. The rack that holds the TV to the wall hadn't been cleaned since they installed them ( 1 yr ago per manager) where they screw the TV rack/holder into the wall you could see where they hadn't even vacuumed up the drywall dust left from the screws. I have pictures to prove it. There was thick dust on top of the rack aswell. Hadn't been cleaned in a year I'd suspect. The top of the head board had an thick layer of dust on top too. That room has not been cleaned properly in a VERY LONG Time. The towel rack in bathroom is about to fall off the wall, the toilet seat was not secure, had black spots on the lid that would not wash of. The bathroom sink was clogged also. All in all this place is not in good condition. Trash in trash cans outside were full for 2 days. Planters in the front of hotel were bone dry and dieing flowers. If you can't take care the front of your House you probably won't take care of the back of your House. This place does not care about you or your comfort and cleanliness they just want your money and then blame you for the Discusting Condition of their hotel. The owner told me it was my fault my room was dirty because I had 2 dogs. So when I arrived at 8:30 pm on Friday we settled in for a good night sleep after being on the road for 7 days. I got up and took a shower at 7am Saturday morning. When I wiped the water off the floor after my shower I could clearly see how FILTHY the floor was. I went right to the front desk to talk to manager. It WAS NOT MY DOGS. IT'S YOUR FILTHY HOTEL. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR LACK OF PROPER CLEANING AND LACK MATINANCE. As the owner said we don't clean the floor, we mop it. They mop it with FILTHY water from every room probably. Every germ from every room mopped all over EVERY ROOM in this TRASHY HOTEL. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. If they can't clean properly they don't need to be in business. Don't Trust them here, they are only out for themselves not their customers. Bad Customer Service ZERO STARS & non of the fancy descriptions fit this hotel. Be Aware of these people. Do Not Give them Your Business

As I approached the front desk I was greeted with a smile and quality customer service. All staff members were professional and eager to help. The property was very clean and well maintained. My room was clean and bed was comfortable. I had a good night's sleep. In the morning I went down for breakfast. There was plenty of options. I will recommend this property to my family and friends.

The staff is professional and helpful. The room is clean, smells clean, and the bed was comfortable. With that being said I got a good night's rest. I went to breakfast in the morning. And had plenty to choose from. The attendant kept the breakfast area clean and stocked.

Booked a stay for one night through delta stays and photos seemed ok. After arriving and waiting at the desk a few minutes we checked in and were charged a 100$ deposit which seems high for this stay. When we went into our room it was over 80 degrees in there with the ac unit dials unlabeled as they are all written in sharpe and rubbed off. The room has an awful moldy water smell due to the bathtub being not cycled for a long time. We looked at the comforter and it has many brown and black stains from previous stays. Then we notice trash and debris on the floor as it has not been swept. We decided to not stay and left after 5 minutes. They wouldn’t refund us due to third party booking even though we followed their “full refund if not there longer then 15 minutes” policy. I am working with delta stays for a refund but they are not helpful. Do not stay here. There are 4 other very nice hotels in the same parking lot which we stayed at for only a few dollars more and where very happy with.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has ever had we will never stay here again. The issue isn’t with the staff —they were polite and tried their best — but with the owner, who is clearly more focused on saving money than providing basic comfort or safety. Here’s what happened room 221 then moved to 111 • No air conditioning in the front desk/lobby, hallways, or rooms. This is absolutely unacceptable, especially in extreme heat. • My parents were first given Room 111, and later Room 221 — both had the AC turned off, so they entered into an oven-like space. • The fridge in Room 221 was off and leaking water, creating a mess and a safety hazard. • Because of the heat, my parents experienced dizziness and discomfort — a real danger for older guests. • Shockingly, even the hotel employee at the front desk was suffering in that heat. The owner doesn’t even care about his own staff’s working conditions. • We personally informed Choice Hotels about this situation, and I hope they take immediate action. This level of negligence should not be allowed under any hospitality brand. • Meanwhile, the owner is enjoying life with his family, while completely ignoring the fact that he’s putting other families — and children — in danger by cutting corners. This isn’t just bad hospitality — it’s irresponsible and dangerous. I urge other travelers to think twice before booking here. Comfort, safety, and basic decency are the bare minimum, and this hotel fails on all counts.

I had a comfortable stay at Quality Hotel in Secor Road, Toledo, OH. The hotel provided all the amenities I needed to make my life easier such as good parking lot, internet Wi-Fi, fridge, pressing iron, TV, clothing rack and hangers and many more. I will definitely use Quality Hotels again and again.
