Read MoreThe hotel provides free airport shuttle service, which is very convenient. However, the pick-up point at HNL airport is unclear, and there is no guidance in the booking information. Even the airport staff were vague and misdirected us despite being shown a photo of the hotel bus (there are only three hotels nearby). We waited nearly half an hour until we finally saw the hotel vehicle passing by, and only by waving it down did it stop to pick us up.
There is a Chinese restaurant right in front of the hotel. Although it serves mostly Americanized Chinese food, it also offers some American dishes, which is a nice option.
The rooms are indeed quite compact, and the beds are small. The window air conditioning unit is extremely noisy—so noisy that it makes one question their sanity. In the end, we had no choice but to turn it off.
In the morning, the hotel offers return shuttle service to the airport. The front desk mentioned it runs once every hour, which is fairly convenient given that the terminal is less than a 10-minute drive away.
