Read MoreI am having the opportunity to stay at Motel 6 for an extended period, and I must say, my experience exceeded my expectations. While this motel may not offer the luxurious amenities found in higher-end hotels, it does indeed provide a comfortable and reliable base while I am in between living situations.
The rooms are newly remodeled and well-maintained. You can definitely tell that all the housekeeping staff work hard as they sometimes stayed until 6pm ensuring everything in order. The location of this property is conveniently located in front of a public transportation bus stop and kiddy corner from the Orbit, which is the free bus for the city of Tempe. That, and having a Circle K and an Arby's directly next door have without a doubt made my long-term stay much more enjoyable.
One of the standout aspects of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. I would like to give a special shout-out to the new Property Manager Veronica, who runs a tight ship, nonetheless, consistently went above and beyond to make my experience pleasant. She is a fierce leader and it shows through her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist me with any request made a significant impact during my stay. We must not forget the property's honorable mention front desk staff that deserve major recognition: Evelyn, Jessica, Devon, Misty (she filled in for a shift from another location) and Stephanie. Every single one of these "All-Stars" were all patient and understanding; Always available to answer any question; Or go out of there way to ensure a room change request was done smoothly (even at the most random hours of the night) and lastly, never hesitated when providing clean linen and/or paper products especially in my time of dire need. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making my stay a pleasant one.
In a nutshell, the idea of staying at (any) Motel 6 may not have the frills of a luxury hotel, however, it does indeed offer a solid, budget-friendly option for those in need of a longer-term stay. Even though this location does NOT take cash as a form of payment, I still would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a no-fuss, comfortable spot to lay your head; Convenient location you can call “home away from home”(if needed), with some down to earth staff, your at the right place!!!
