Read MoreThis was the worst hotel/motel stay I’ve ever had. I mean, I know it’s a Motel 6, but still. I was trying to spend as little as possible on accommodations on this trip, but I did not even get what I paid for. The only good things I can say are that I was conveniently located by a train, stop and restaurants, and the staff was generally friendly enough and somewhat helpful for most of my stay. However, they only delivered on my requests for towels and housekeeping half the time. The room was awful, gross, dirty, damaged furniture, hair on the shower curtain rod, no shower curtain- had to ask for one and install it myself, dirty towels, stained pillowcase and stained bedding, did not receive housekeeping request until 1 day later. But the worst part was that when I finally did get housekeeping while I was out for the day, I returned at night to find that the housekeeper had left my door not fully shut! and my valuables, although thankfully still there, could easily have been stolen. I almost lost so much, including tech and money, which would’ve greatly impacted me all around, ruined my trip and devastated me. This was such a bad experience. I will never stay at a motel 6 again.
