We stayed at Loews Hotel in Chicago for two nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel has a stylish and welcoming atmosphere, and the room we stayed in was exactly what we expected — clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Nothing exceeded expectations, but nothing fell short either, which is what we hoped for. One small detail that stood out was the absence of slippers in the room; though we didn’t request them, I believe the staff would have provided them had we asked, as they were generally very friendly and accommodating.
The location of the hotel is truly excellent — it’s within walking distance of many of Chicago’s major attractions, shops, and restaurants. That centrality definitely made our trip more convenient and enjoyable.
The only minor inconvenience we experienced was with the parking validation service. We were told during check-in that parking could be validated at the front desk. However, on both nights of our stay, the system was not functioning, and we were unable to validate our parking. While it wasn’t a major issue, it was a bit disappointing given that it was mentioned as an available amenity upon arrival.
That said, the hotel itself met expectations and the staff’s courteous and professional attitude stood out. I would consider staying here again in the future, especially for the location and overall vibe.
