Read MoreI recently stayed at the LaQuinta Inn in Miramar Beach, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms are incredibly family-friendly, complete with bunk beds included in the pricing—though I didn't need them since I was traveling solo. I imagine families with children would find that especially useful. One great feature is the availability of snacks, drinks, and other items for purchase, which is convenient for those traveling with kids or anyone craving a late-night snack. The only downside is that the prices for those items were a bit on the expensive side.
The staff was excellent—very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I appreciated their quick attention, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job, which is rare these days. My room, including the shower, was spotless upon arrival.
The location is another big plus, being less than 10 minutes from the beach, Walmart, and the outlets. Big Kahuna's water park is only about 15 minutes away, even with traffic. The property also felt very secure, with cameras positioned throughout.
I did experience a couple of minor issues. The mattress on my king-sized bed in room 225 wasn’t very comfortable—one side was too firm, while the other side had me sinking in uncomfortably. The faucet in the bathroom was also loose, requiring both hands to operate. Aside from these, everything else met or exceeded expectations for a hotel at this price point in the area.
All in all, a solid stay, and I would recommend it, especially for families!

There is the presence of security cameras throughout the property. The location also feels safe, being close to main roads and parking lot is very well-lit. The staff is also very responsive and attentive, which adds to the sense of security, as they are quick to address concerns or questions from guests.
