Staff was pleasant and check-in was quick, but that's about it for positive part of the review.

Full disclosure, this was a quick overnight stop along our route. Since we arrived late and left early, I did not address any of these complaints with the staff. I'm sure they would have been great about it and improved my experience, but for the short stay it really just wasn't worth it.
The worst part of the stay was the HORRIBLE smell in the room. It smelled like old dog pee that had soaked into the carpet and then sat in hot/humid temperatures with no ventilation (which is 100% what it actually was). My boyfriend said that once we turned on the A/C it would go away, but it definitely did NOT go away.
I'm not at the level of wiping down surfaces to check cleanliness, but I do check the tub before showering since it's usually an obvious sign as to how clean everything else is. Several dark hairs were clearly visible, so that answers that.
I decided to just wash my face and go to bed, but ended up getting water on the floor. When I wiped up the water, the towel came up DARK BROWN. Ughhhh.
The last (relatively minor) complaint is that the elevator is painfully slow. No big deal if you can take the stairs, but just worth noting.
