VacationFamilyLocation: 2Majority of the hotel door locks were punched out and you could see the mechanism within the door and access it. Our door wouldn't latch so we could turn the manual door lock so our only option was the little bar that swings across the door.

The lights from nearby gas stations and the parking lot shown into the room all night even with curtains and drapes closed as tightly as possible. The pool was the main reason for booking this hotel as we had 3 children to entertain when not out doing other activities——the pool was closed almost the entire time we were there only opening around the time we were getting the kids ready for bed the night before check out. There were no other hotels with openings in the area, or so we were told when we called around, so we stayed. A crib was not available even though we requested it when booking seeing as it was listed as a free amenity on the site and we were assured it would be no problem over the phone by the front desk agent the night before check in; management had to scramble to find a suitable replacement which was a pack-and-play and a spare sheet. Room was not cleaned at all the entire time we were there only to find out at check out that rooms are only cleaned after occupants check out. We had to ask for clean towels. The hotel was dirty and run down looking with a lot of damaged/out-of-order items/areas out in the open for guests to see as we were walking to and from rooms. I woke up to credit card alerts the second day in; I was charged two additional fees and the front desk couldn’t tell me what they were for at first but finally assured me that both were just “deposits” that would be returned 24-48 hours after checking out. Got off the phone with front desk today, 7/12/25, 72 hours after checking out, and was assured again that both fees were “deposits” and was told that the holds had already been “lifted on their end.” I called my credit card company and, if these two charges are posted or still pending without a reversal within their set time period, actions will be taken. The only positives of the hotel was that the front desk staff was friendly and there were plenty of breakfast options. Otherwise, I would advise skipping this stay all together.
