When we entered, there was fuzz our dust or lint or something right as we got into the room. Once inside, there was dried crud in multiple places. It looked like dried dog poop. The water that came out of the tap was rusty looking. We didn't even want to let our dog drink it.
I went back to the front desk and asked the clerk for a clean room. He took me to look at a different room, which also had crud on the floor. When the second room he wanted to show me wouldn't open, I showed him our room and said I wanted a refund. We lugged all our luggage back to the car. I went to the office to get a refund but the guy said we needed to call Expedia to get the refund.
We have used La Quinta several times in the past and have had no issues like this. This particular hotel is gross and I would not recommend it to anyone!
