I would NOT recommend staying at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Denver Northglenn based on my recent experience. When I arrived, I was given a room that was in unacceptable condition — it had a strong, unbearable odor and was visibly dirty. After raising the issue with the front desk, I was told the hotel was fully booked that night, but I could be moved to a different room the next day and the manager would offer a discount.
The next day, I was moved to a second room, which didn’t smell, but the sheets were stained — still not what you'd expect from a reputable hotel. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manager, my concerns were ignored for several days. When I was finally able to speak with her, she was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. At one point, she told me I shouldn't have stayed at the hotel if I didn't like it — despite the fact that I had no other options due to local availability.
I ended up escalating the issue to the corporate office, where I was finally offered partial compensation for the poor experience. The hotel made no effort to resolve things directly or provide even basic customer service.
The only reason I’m giving this more than one star is because the front desk staff at the time of check-in tried to be helpful — but overall, this stay was stressful and disappointing. I strongly encourage others to consider different accommodations if you're looking for cleanliness, comfort, and respectful service.
