It was essentially the same price as the Holiday Inn next door. Very nice hotel, staff is terrific. It’s geared to those traveling to the clinic. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the campus (but so do other hotels). Note that not every room is a suite. We didn’t have a suite, but we did have a nice room. Very comfortable, clean, nicely appointed; the bed was wonderful! We ate dinner and then breakfast at their on-site restaurant. It was very, very good. I went for a walk around the block after dinner (still light out), and it felt perfectly safe. The staff were uniformly helpful, welcoming, and friendly. We stowed our bags with the bellman the next morning; we checked out to go to our appointment. We were told we could leave our car in valet parking until our appointment was completed. The free shuttle took us to and from our appointment.
Naturally, none of this comes cheap. But it can be a tense time going for medical appointments, and it was so helpful to have many of the minor worries taken care of by the Intercontinental Suites Hotel.
