I normally do not leave reviews, but I believe this experience warrants being shared.
While my parents’ stay at your hotel was generally pleasant, I was very disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed by some of the staff. On July 21, 2025, during the PM shift, I spoke with a front desk associate regarding a $45 parking charge that appeared on our bill. My parents were the only ones staying at the hotel, and they did not have a vehicle, so this charge was unexpected and incorrect.
When I attempted to address the issue, the front desk representative was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak with a manager, and she stated the manager was unavailable. I then requested that she leave a message for the manager to call me back, to which she responded dismissively, saying, “The manager is not going to call you,” in a very disrespectful tone.
Furthermore, when I explained that I live about 15 minutes from the airport and it was my parents staying at the hotel, she replied condescendingly that it must have been my parents’ friends. This was not only untrue but also highly inappropriate—my parents do not speak English, and this was their first visit to Chicago.
Unfortunately, this interaction has left a very negative impression. Given the unprofessional conduct and unresolved billing issue, I regret to say that this will likely be our first and last experience with your hotel.
