WITHOUT FULFILLING THEIR PART OF THE AGREEMENT, NO OFFER TO MAKE IT RIGHT,
We booked 2 rooms, and were there for a little over 2 weeks. One room did not have a working microwave, a bathroom door, a usable and unsafe dresser (broken and would fall over with any cloths in it), all of the cabinets are missing pieces, the rooms were very dirty, no to mention cockroaches in a lot of the rooms. we did witness this personally in multiple rooms, and have a lot of pictures. We asked for a microwave and a door daily, and were told daily we would get them... Lies we never got a door and had a microwave for the last 3 days we were there. There wasn't a trash can in one room, again asked for one repeatedly and finally got one at the end of our stay. We did not have hot water for 4 days. When we checked out, they said they were keeping the deposit because of "damaged linins". my son (with disabilities) had an accident and one of the sheets had urine on it. I explained that to them and they did not care. apparently 1 sheet is $100. We then booked at the other HomeTowne Studios, went to check in and were told we could not, we were given the reason that since my son would be staying with us we could not stay. SO discrimination is all I can say about that. pretty sure there is laws to protect people from this. The contract was never fulfilled by the hotel, I have been trying to contact someone other than Julie (supposed regional manager) to give them the opportunity to rectify this situation with no response. Redroof said they would investigate, yea, they emailed the manager or called her depending on who you talk to and took her at her word. Her word is not worth much, LIES. She said she was discounting our room to make up for some of the downfalls of the hotel. she was going to give us a $50 discount for the 1 night. I know, WOW... well I went to pay for an additional day, and the office was closed. (11:05 AM) when it reopened I went to pay and was charged a late fee of $22 per room. Some discount... DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL THEY ARE RUDE, CONDESENDING, AND WILL LIE TO YOU. I was also charged $120 and $70 days after check out. Disputing the charges but that takes a long time. the pictures on line are not of this hotel, the rooms are nothing like pictured. Whoever the "owner" is that responds to these reviews, I would love to speak to you. Probably not though, nobody has called me back...
Oh and I almost forgot, non smoking rooms? smoke stained walls and ceilings and the plastic sheet had cigarette burns.
