Read MoreI stayed here for 2 weeks for work and was looking forward to a nice stay but unfortunately I was sorely disappointed.
The room had 2 phones and the one at the work desk did not work, so I had to tell the front desk that the reciever wasn't working. My room also didn't come with the typical blackout shade! I couldn't sleep with my baby because it was extremely bright outside with the parking lot lights and highway lights. I was shocked, it took them 2 days to figure something out. Maintenance ended up just buying some cheap curtain rod and curtains. There were alot of damage and stains in the bathroom and each time I hand washed my dishes there was a leak coming from the cabinetry nearest the fridge.
My internet connection ended up not working early on in my stay and I had to call a 1-800 number and provide ATT my IP address which I've never had to do as a guest and honestly made me uncomfortable, but the cable options were horrible so I needed to be able to stream from our personal accounts to keep my son entertained when I was cleaning, working or in the bathroom.
The breakfast was more disappointing. Unfortunately, I am lactose intolerant and none of the omelets or breakfast sandwiches came without cheese. I asked one of the associates if it were possible to remove a slice of cheese from a sandwich before they warmed one up, but they acted like it was too much of an inconvenience. I ended up only being able to eat oatmeal or making a waffle, but no other forms of protein were available. Finally their coffee machine was out of service.
The hallways before getting to your room were ridiculously humid and during the hottest part of summer in Texas, that's not what I was expecting when staying at a Hilton.
As a Diamond member this location was nothing like what is advertised and I definitely do not plan on staying here again.
