The water coming out of the sinks and shower is scalding hot on hot and the cold is very warm. There's no way to get cold drinkable water without buying it for $2 at the front desk. When I asked at the front desk I was told they do that intentionally because it gets so cold in the winter. I'm from Minnesota and call BS on that. We have far worse winters and have cold water! They also told me the water isn't drinkable because of the heavy metals in it. When I asked about the broken lampshade and one light not working at all, I was told they were waiting for supplies to be able to fix anything. I was assured that if I came back after spring of 2026, they were getting remodeled. I was more concerned about my current stay. If I come back after 2026, I'm staying elsewhere. In the morning I brought the water issue up to the new front desk person. They told me that the city has been working on it for months and can't make the water cold. Again, BS, it comes out of the ground cold. They also felt that the water was drinkable. The employees need to get their lies straight.
Other reviews have hated on the breakfast. When I went to breakfast I was surprised to see that they were absolutely correct. Most of the hot food was unrecognizable. There were supposed to be chorizo patties, but the closest thing that looked like one was labeled as a cage free egg white patty. I couldn't tell and wasn't going to taste it to find out. People were eating it, but honestly, I wouldn't have let my dog eat it. The muffins looked promising. The make your own waffles were ok. However, one full cup only filled 3 of the four mini waffle cavities. The juice was good.
