Read MoreI stayed for a work trip last week. Unfortunately on my way out, I accidentally left my backpack in the desk/work area of my room. I called and was told no one found it or turned it in. I was not followed up with by management and basically told “sorry…tough luck!” by the girl who took my call. I’m certain of where the bag was left, so someone from the hotel had to of taken it and did not turn it in. While the items in the backpack may have looked valuable to whoever took the bag, they have little to no resale value, but they are irreplaceable to me. As of now, management has not followed up with me and I’ve had to call several times to check in and keep getting the same reply.
While the hotel is ok, I would not recommend staying in a place where you cannot trust to even return a forgotten backpack.
