I stayed here 4 weeks ago for a couple of nights. Overall the place was clean, comfortable, quiet, and pleasant. Let's get down to the details.
The Arrival and Departure:
Both the check in and check out processes was swift. (I booked through 3rd party.) All encounters with staff was pleasant. The landscape and design of the place is beautiful.
The Room:
My room was clean and comfortable. What stood out was the peeling of the stand up shower floor. Also, I think the beds were full size and not queen size as advised. I usually don't use house keeping so, I can't comment on that.
The Breakfast:
Breakfast was pretty good and had variety.
2-3 different eggs
2 different meats
Potatoes
Oatmeal
Cereal
Bread
Bagel
English muffin
Fruits
Yogurt
Muffins
Cinnamon roll
Only thing that sucked was the pancake maker was out of service both mornings.
The Pool:
The indoor pool is located at the connecting hotel. (I don't remember reading that detail.) The pool was at a well temperature and clean. What sucked is the bathrooms are located outside the pool area. Which means you have to freeze walking through the hallway. Also, the hot tub was out of service.
The Restaurants?:
As advised as having two restaurants end up being two separate seating areas with one menu and kitchen. They're also located at the connecting hotel. I ordered the pasta with shrimp and it was delicious. It was cheesey with bold flavors. The quesadilla was pretty good too.
The G.O.A.T:
Our server Camille was nothing short of amazing. Unfortunately she only had one other person helping her bring out the orders. While she worked the bar, took orders, served orders, and cleared tables. She did it all with a positive and professional attitude. Even dealing with some not so friendly college students. I've seen other people get put in a tough spot like that and their service reflected it. Not Camille though, she kept her composure and gave great service.
The Sports:
All the sporting activities are located at the connecting hotel. I used their basketball half court, which the balls were provided. They don't provide tennis equipment and I don't know about the others.
The Verdict:
All in all I'd stay here again. It definitely lived up to a 3-star hotel, maybe even 3.5 stars.
