I hosted my 2024 Fields Family Reunion here on Labor Day Weekend. I reached out to this hotel a year in advance and from day one the communication with staff was friendly and follow up with reasonable time. (Natasha Parmes, Doris Burgess).
I drove from Atlanta to here and was a little early from check in time, but the staff was very accommodating and check in was smooth transition. The complimentary gift was SO SWEET and unexpected! My room was a suite and very spacious. Clean, the AC really works lol and nice view.
My parents had flight issues late night and the staff (woman, I'm sorry I forgot name) was very nice and helpful with information.
Shuttle drivers were nice, especially the older guy we had nice convo. The location of hotel is right near the highway exit and easy to find. Wish the shuttle was at front of National Harbor instead of the back, buuut dropping off at the Gaylord- which is a beautiful venue inside and just as worth it, especially if dining, bowling, or enjoying the venue.
Check out was easy from the email/ phone. The restaurant inside, Portum, was delicious and affordable. The crab, shrimp omelet was yummy. Checked out Sunday, and local residents seem to come and enjoy the brunch and jazz so you might want to get there early.
I will be willing to stay again!
