Subject: Formal Complaint – Unresolved Jacuzzi and Service Issues at Hampton Inn & Suites
Dear Hilton Customer Service,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. My experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standards I expected from a Hilton property.
I specifically booked and paid for a room with a jacuzzi. However, upon arrival, the jacuzzi did not work. I reported the issue immediately and requested another room with a working jacuzzi, but instead of being moved, a maintenance person was sent to the room. The maintenance technician informed us that the jacuzzi airline had been removed, and the part would take at least a week to arrive. When we tried to use it, it only made a buzzing sound with no bubbles or water flow.
Despite my complaint, no one followed up or offered proper accommodations. I also contacted corporate and spoke with a manager, who stated that he could not provide monetary compensation because my reservation was made through a third party. He offered extra points for another stay. However, what I wanted was a working room or an alternative accommodation — and that was also denied.
To make matters worse, the refrigerator was dirty, and there was no extra toilet paper in the room. This entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and not at all reflective of Hilton’s usual quality and hospitality.
I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken — including a refund or credit for the stay, as I did not receive the service or amenities I paid for.
