The property is kept in great shape. However, the front desk staff is hardly customer-service focused. Without giving too much detail here, we informed them of our particular circumstances when we made our reservation. We then called, prior to arriving, to make sure they were able to accommodate our request. They assured us they saw our request and could accommodate us. When we checked in, the front desk person was surprised at our request but accommodated us. This morning, a different front desk person accused us of not filling out a certain form and being in a room not appropriate to us - as we don’t work the front desk, giving out forms and assigning rooms, her accusation and tone were unwarranted. As a person who developed, instituted, and trained customer service skills globally, I suggest it’s time for Fairfield Inn and Suites to revisit and reinforce their customer service philosophy.
