I don’t usually do the whole review thing but I feel people should be made aware before wasting their money. Now for starters, any of the positive reviews you’re seeing for this hotel, please take my advice and disregard them. The reason they posted those positive reviews is because when checking in, the lady at the front tells you she will wave the $100 deposit if you post a positive review. I know this first hand because I agreed to do it. The lady seemed super sweet and very polite. She was a short older lady, unfortunately I don’t recall her name. SHE IS THE ONLY POSITIVE thing at the hotel. I hope and pray that lady finds a better source of income because the extended stay is not for her. She seemed like too good of a person to be stuck there with the other ghetto, rude and disrespectful employees. With that being said, let’s start with Friday. Checked in for the weekend with the sweetheart. We got in the room and there was no heat. Switched to another room. After we had to walk over multiple people sitting and smoking on the stairs, (which made us want to leave at that moment but getting a decent priced hotel last minute on a Friday would not have been easy.) we entered the second room. The room wasn’t extremely horrible at first glance. Online stated that our room would have several amenities like microwave , fridge and a.c. unfortunately , the microwave was disgusting, the fridge was clean but smelled like something spoiled was in there for quite a while. I noticed the smoke alarm was covered by a plastic bag. Asked for non smoking room and roomed definitely smelled of smoke. After a long travel , my fiancé and I decided to just call it a night. That’s when we pulled back the blanket and noticed burn marks in the sheets. The next morning, we were woken up by extremely loud guest a few rooms down who sounded like they were fighting. About 20 mins later, police showed up and it was quiet for about 2 hours before it started again. We left to go to linch and explore. Came back to the room around 5pm Saturday night. My fiancé was on the chair watching tv while I hopped in the shower (stained towels but luckily we bought our own :)) A few minutes after I was in the shower, somebody starts banging on the door extremely loud and hard, before my fiancé even made it to the door, there was a worker entering stating that we needed to leave. I turn the water off and I’m listening to my fiancé ask why when we paid for the whole weekend. She said she didn’t need to explain herself to us and we need to be out within the hour or police will be called. The lady was extremely ghetto, rude and outright nasty and moving her neck and clapping her hands in a way where we just wanted to avoid any issues so we packed and went to the car. We were luckily able to book at the Sure Stay on wolf road and left to head there. Not perfect but MUCH BETTER HOTEL FOR ALMOST THE SAME PRICE! I don’t even know how the extended stay got 3.3 rating but take my advice and if you need quick, cheap, and convenient, I highly recommend the sure stay. STAY AWAY FROM EXTENDED STAY
