As parents of two small children, this is exactly the type of place where my wife and I could get away to not be around children and to focus on each other.
This place caters to couples looking for a romantic, intimate getaway and it delivers on that in spades. The food is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and spacious for 2 people. Equipped with fireplaces in each room and private soak tubs just outside of the room, this place is perfect for relaxing and connecting --- either as a couple or on your own.
The owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They are talkative if you want to talk and they'll leave you alone if that's what you prefer. It felt like the setting of a Christmas Hallmark movie because the owners make it feel so inviting and warm.
My wife and I will definitely be making this a regular vacation spot and can't be more glad we found it.

Safety
There was never a moment where I felt unsafe and would definitely recommend this place.
Walkability
This place was easily walkable and even had ramps for wheelchairs. If stairs are hard for you, I'd call and ask which rooms do not require stairs, but otherwise, it's quite easy to walk.
Food & drinks
The food is absolutely incredible. Each breakfast is made that morning and it tastes absolutely incredible. The eggs are often hatched from chickens on the property (though, I didn't see any chicken coops!). From the omelets, to scones to breakfast sandwiches, everything is a 10/10.
