We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Jackson, Tennessee. While the experience was okay overall, the property is in desperate need of renovation. There were noticeable issues like peeling wallpaper, surface cracks in the walls, and mold in the shower. Even the elevator had broken buttons, which added to the rundown feeling.
That said, the linens were clean, and the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. It’s clear that the staff is doing their best, but the hotel itself could use significant updates to meet the standard one expects from the DoubleTree brand.

The room was clean overall, but the condition of the space really showed its age. There was peeling wallpaper, cracks in the walls, and the shower had mold, which was disappointing. However, the linens were fresh and clean, which helped improve the experience.
