Deluxe Motel in Leesburg

I don't wanna speak bad on this place, cause when I was down and out and needed somewhere to live... cheap, this is where I ended up. But I wasn't there long cause they go into your room when you're gone. I was there 3 weeks and they refused to wash the towels, I had to pay at the laundry mat to wash THEIR towels!!(and they stole MY new towels that I bought for my kids) They have very strict rules for certain ppl, they tend to over charge depending on the time of year. And the smell of the place I will NEVER forget! I could go on, but I'm sure you get the point...

Met a friend there, made the mistake of using the restroom. There was visible nastiness on the wall, I quickly left the bathroom. I wasn't stupid enough to check the shower without a hazmat suit. What is truly bizarre, it's almost as if the owner wanted to revamp the place but gave up mid renovation. Or possibly the rougher clientele has just destroyed it. Either way, if you can afford anything else, avoid this motel.

This post is being written during my family's extended stay. Our experiences thus far are a mixed bag. At first the woman who checked us in, and later also does some of the housekeeping seemed cold, aggressive and uncompromising. To the point of giving us the impression of being very "put upon" by our requests. Things like an extra towel and washcloth, replacing the missing microwave and even getting the password for the wifi seemed like things she felt no need to provide. Now to preface this, one I do not believe that English was her first language, two there may be a cultural difference. We are white, they are I believe Indian.This isn't the only Indian owned hotel/motel in the area and there seems to be a common theme with the reviews for all of them. Crime and drug use appears to be common, so small wonder some of the unprofessional attitude. Enter people suddenly displaced either by natural disaster (hurricanes are common) or economical hardship and there is bound to be a lot of stress and communication issues. It is difficult not to discard a group of of people whole cloth when there is this obvious common thread. We knew this when we came here, and I at least opted to use it as an excuse to step forward and be a little friendlier and be sure to express gratitude for even the small things. It took a while, but we're starting to hear "You're welcome" now.The rules:No cooking in the room, you can use the microwave, but no cooking. I take this to mean, don't bring in any outside appliances. No crockpots, toasters, hotplates, electric skillets, etc. If we weren't supposed to heat up frozen dinners why is there a microwave and not just a coffee maker for coffee or hot water for tea? We're seasoned campers and it sucks to not just break out a campstove and the pressure cooker. But I understand there is just too much liability. You get one faulty appliance or someone using one improperly and there could be a serious mess. This is an older motel so many things are in need of upgrades. The outlets are few and worn out. One high draw appliance and something will likely pop.Housekeeping comes in every day, there is no No. That's right, they want to come in every day no matter what. They're looking for illegal activities, unpaid for guests, appliances that'll cost them extra electricity or break the wiring. They're used to having problems and they treat everyone the same: like a problem. They want the trash out every day, and they want the towels changed every day. I am disappointed they don't do more.Our room layout is a little like an efficiency.The good:The air conditioner works, wifi has good signal (in this room) and the bandwidth is usable but you're not going to consistently stream HD video. There is a new-ish LED HDTV but it is not connected by HDMI to the cable box. The remote for the TV to fix the scaling settings is missing there is only the remote for the cable box. The shower works well with plenty of flow and the water isn't consistently hot, so I know the water heater is undersized. There is actually a kitchenette with counter, bar sink and storage. There is a small table, desk and a total of three chairs in this room. The two beds are double size and don't feel wrecked. The refrigerator is larger than expected and fairly new. The microwave we were given was brand new, but only 700 watts. The lights all work but don't have very bright bulbs, think they're CFL's and getting a little old and dim.The bad:An old motel has the usual issues. The outlets are sparce and loose. The paint needs refreshed. There are large patched areas that have not been painted. One of the bed's headboard is leaned up in a corner. The lighting is just plain poor. The smoke detector is hanging by it's wires, but I just saw it flash so I know it's got power. One door key. The door is sloppy in the frame and I am positive it can be jimmied with a credit card. No closet. Wall mounted clothing rack is loose on the wall. Roaches, we've killed six so far, but no signs of bed bugs yet.I have more but I'm out of characters.

It's. Horrible! Any review that claims it to be even a little bit ok is LYING! There are so many different kinds of roaches in my room and big bed bugs also many brown recluse spider's. I've even killed 3 spiders (BR) in the bed after they crawled out from under the sheet. They do not offer to give you tp, soap,an extra towel or bag's for ice. They do not use cleaning fluids to sanitize anything and are always wanting to come in your room everyday. They will go in if they think your not there I've been told. They don't like to give you soap or tp.If you open the door at all to find out what they want they will try to push past you and come in no matter what you say or your in just a towel! All they say is,"That's ok im comeing in." NO IT'S NOT OK AND YOUR GOING AGAINST MY WISHES, Violated My Privacy, Disturbed My Rest by Relentlessly Beating on the Door with a DND SIGN HANGING ON IT! Now Im Not being RESPECTED and I Don't Feel SAFE or RELAXED or TREATED like IM THE PAYING GUEST/CUSTOMER. They allow regular constant and continued Visitation by drug dealers that will approach you and try to sell you drug's. They are so bold as to knock on your door using excuses like "so&so sent them to" blah blah blah, so you'll crack open the door to hear them. Then try to sell (probably fake dope) to you. They have camera's and are ALWAYS watching and being noisy but NEVER say anything to these dealers even after being told about it. But people who stay here have been arrested and hauled off. And it's always busy in the parking lot ALL DANG NIGHT. GEEKERS BACKING IN AND OUT OF PARKING SPACES ACROSS THE LOT AND BACK ALL NIGHT. THE ROOM NEXT DOOR WAS SO BUSY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEK'S. AND BETWEEN CAR DOORS SLAMMING AND THE KNOCKING THEN THE ROOM DOOR OPENING THEN SLAMMING ALL NIGHT, I couldn't get to sleep at all until about 6:30 - 7:00am and then between 8-9am the Mgr/Owner or Housekeeping starts the continuous banging and yelling for you to open the door so they can go look around and stick their head in your shower and aren't pleasant about it. More like demanding and extremely pushy.We were told the carpet was being cleaned on Monday between 10-10::30am and.would take only 3 mins of my time and to move everything off the carpet including furniture. Im disabled elderly and crippled and have been bothered so much im sleep deprived and my health is getting worse so I asked him to be sure to get it done quickly because I had to get some rest! The owner banged on the door at 9:30 and I had it ALL READY (remember im crippled and in a lot of pain 99.9% of the time and it takes a while to even get to the door). He said , " I get him to do your room next". And they didn't even get to it until almost 4:00pm with all that time the Mgr wanted your door to be open and air off and All your stuff is piled onto the bed and all chairs, tables etc..are outside or stacked in the bathroom and sink area along with everything else that touched the floor and it was VERY HOT THAT DAY. So..NOWHERE TO SIT OR LAY DOWN EXCEPT ON THE EDGE OF THE BED AND NO AIR AND ALL YOUR FOOD IS BLOCKED UP IN THE BATHROOM AND NO WAY TO GO ANYWHERE IN THE ROOM WITH MY WALKER ESPECIALLY NOT INTO THE BATHROOM! So I couldn't eat, get a cold drink, go to the bathroom, get out of the heat, relax, have privacy because door had to be open and everybody passed by and looked in at you and your room ALL THE HURTING, HUNGRY, HOT, NO POTTY , NO TV, NO RELAXING, NO REST, NO RESPECT ,NO CONSIDERATION, NO TIMELY JOB BEING DONE AND NO APOLOGIES. OR ANYTHING OFFERED FOR ALL THESE 6-8 hours of FULLY LOADED INCONVIENCE AND DEPRAVITY OF HUMAN NECESSITIES AND PRIVACY. I'VE HAD NOTHING BUT NERVES ON EDGE. AND CHEST PAINS SINCE BEING HERE. EVERYTIME I HEAR A DOOR SLAM OR HEAR A KNOCK I FEEL MTSELF START TO PANIC THINKING I HAVE TO GET OFF THE BED WHICH IS TOO HIGH IT HURTS...AND ADJUST MY BODY WHICH HURTS SO I CAN GET TO THE WALKER TO GET TO THE DOOR AND THEN HEAR THE DEMANDS AND WONT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER AND ARGUES CLAIMING THE RIGHT TO CHECK THE ROOM ANYTIME THEY PLEASE & COMING IN 1MIN.

Clean ,We'll kept units, owner very much on top of things no loud people carrying on and he stays involved with out over staying his welcome....... the place is very old 40 plus years so it just not visually a pealing and some are put off that they do rent longterm, But as I said I've spoken to him a few times very polite very professional and he keeps a very close eye on the comings and goings ...and he has put new little fridges in the weekly rentals and microwaves made comes by every morning so I almost hate the 3 star should be just stated 4 Star but outside visually Un a pealing only because it's been there a long time but they do keep it painted nice parking lot etc.

I tried to rent a room here for my son. The price I was given over the phone changed once I showed up in person. I needed it for 1 week, 1 person. Then I was told my son had to rent it himself, with his I.D.. When we came back, we had kids with us. The room was only for my son. I told him this. I was informed,very rudely, no company.I said ok. He is the only one staying. No company, any visitors after 8pm-police will be called. You loose your money! Both men I spoke to were Increadably rude and nasty. I ended up telling them I would rather pay more money somewhere else. He flicked us off as we drove out of the parking lot. Very disrespectful and unprofessional.Does not deserve 1 star.

i currently live inside this motel and i think its great they have wonderfull service a working ac and nice soft beds they change sheets every day and they also make sure everything is clean the house keeping there is verry flexible to change because we asked her to stop bringing towels and soap. the only complaint is that the owner has a verry deep accent that is at some points hard to understand.
