I stayed here for 6 days. The rooms were decent though not the same quality as the other small Marriotts I have been to. Dirty carpet. Housekeeping comes every other day unless you request differently (I did but they never came daily). They came and got my trash two days (which I appreciate), but never refreshed the bed at all. I had to ask was this a new policy as I wasn't sure. Sadly, the hotel was out of complimentary bottled-waters for everyone and the pantry snacks were pretty skimpy. My room had coffee cup lids but no coffee cups and the packaged coffees were never refreshed (I guess they figured why bother). When I went downstairs to inquire about the cups, I was told they were out and just grab one from the bar. (What's going on management?)
The quality of the toiletries were much lower than many other Marriotts, there is no microwave in the rooms, and the fridges are super-tiny. There are no plastic cups in the room to fill the iron, distribute ice, or use them to drink from.
A particularly new employee working there needs some serious retraining and sadly management was no where to be seen on site. I was called and awakened by this same employee asking me if I was checking out even though I'm a Platinum Member that gets late checkout.
Positives: The lobby and common areas are beautiful, and the evening staff did seem concerned about my negative experience; though, there was apparently nothing that could be done except to email the housekeeping and general managers.
A bit of an odd and disappointing experience. Just not what I'm used to. Likely, will not return to this Marriott when in town on business.
