I stayed in the penthouse rooms at this hotel, which is in a great location. The rooms were smaller than expected, especially given the “penthouse” label, but they were clean, bug-free, and odorless. The view of TD Garden was perfect, and the rooms were quiet. Occasionally, you could hear a car from outside, but it was minimal. The beds were perfect for a good night's sleep.
We initially received only two bath towels when we requested four, but the attentive staff quickly provided additional towels within minutes. The front desk staff were very nice and polite. In the penthouse, we had complimentary snacks (granola bars, chips, cookies), which was a nice touch for the kids. The bathroom had good water pressure, and the temperature was just right. I did not use the valet parking, so I can't comment on that.
We attended a Celtics game on February 12th, which ended past 9 pm. It was freezing outside, but we just had to cross the street to get to the hotel, making it very convenient if you're visiting TD Garden. Additionally, there are a StarMarket, CVS, Starbucks, The Hub (restaurants), and other pubs within a 2-3 minute walking distance. It took us 10 minutes to reach Umberto’s Galleria or Modern Pastry in the North End.
Two things to improve: the gym is very limited, and the cleaning service always came late in the day, around 4:30 pm or later, when we were taking a break in the room.
