I stayed at Comfort Suites this past weekend, and I’m extremely disappointed with the experience. From the moment I walked into the room, it was clear that cleanliness and quality were not a priority.There was a towel literally draped over the smoke detector — a serious safety concern. The trash cans still had garbage in them from the previous guest, the ice bucket was filled with leftover water, and the entire room smelled strange — like a mix of must and someone else’s body spray. The bed itself reeked of that same scent and felt unclean.To make matters worse, the bed springs were sticking out and uncomfortable, the fridge wasn’t working at all, and everything was coated in dust. It felt like no one had properly cleaned or inspected the room before my arrival.
I brought some of these concerns to the front desk, but there was no sense of urgency or care. I didn’t receive a sincere apology or any kind of resolution. This kind of service and room condition is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one operating under the Comfort Suites brand.I would not recommend this location to anyone. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and unsafe conditions made for a miserable stay. I hope management takes this seriously and makes the changes that are clearly overdue.
