The location of this resort is pretty good, although it seems like very few buses on the island get you to and from this resort. The 8, 13, 20, 42 buses are all extremely behind most of the time and they just don’t have that many of them, which isn’t something the resort can control, but it’s something to be aware of.
- My biggest complaint is the fact that the “2nd” bedroom has two what seems to be full sized beds or smaller, and there is no fan! There is one measly air vent for the second room and it gets boiling hot making it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. If youre sharing a bed, you’re squished against the other person, and because it’s so hot, it’s downright miserable.
- The staff are all pretty nice, but they changed the locks on the doors during our stay and we got constant misinformation about the timeline for that. It was also a hassle to get our wristbands changed because they said they should work through a certain day, but the day before they stopped working entirely. They also didn’t explain the trash/towel/housekeeping situation to us, then tried to gaslight me about that.
- we got multiple calls trying to schedule our timeshare meeting, despite one already being on the books. How can all employees not see the system? We also were promised one gift for doing the presentation, but when we got there, they tried to offer us a lesser gift.
- The pool was completely out of order, inexplicably. I’m not really sure what renovations couldn’t possibly be occurring because it seems there’s never anyone working on it, but it is what it is.
- the view of the parking lot was less than ideal, but again, it is what it is I guess. The balconies are extremely small and infested with mosquitos.
