Just wow.
This was the hidden gem of a retreat I didn’t know I needed, with many delightful surprises throughout the stay that leveled up this property.
You can just feel it— all the staff (from the check-in, bell service, instructors, servers, etc) genuinely enjoy hosting, being accommodating, and making you feel wonderful. That depth of service is rare and such a treat. It’s also a sign of positive management who empowers their employees to embrace the spirit of hospitality. Thanks team!
Some highlights for us that we didn’t expect, but loved:
-Very pet friend including a pet menu!
-adorable animal farm, close-up interaction with sheep, llamas, goats, etc.
-HOT hot tub and pool open 24 hours (love)
-warm cozy fireplaces everywhere you turn
-a hotel restaurant (Valley Kitchen) that was fresh and delicious (also rare for a Hyatt unfortunately)
-a 2-hour yoga and hike experience, free! Such a beautiful way to start the morning.
-very spacious and pristine clean suite with multiple fireplaces
-staff were not robots—they thought outside the box on every request to best accommodate your individual need. So cool.
I honestly hope Hyatt management will take a look at the management style and hospitality of this exemplary property, and apply some of the practices at their other locations. I’ve been to Hyatt Category 8+’s that can’t compete with Valley Ranch.
Hope to return soon!
