Read MoreThe room was fine, the service during the stay was fine, I wish there had been a better heads up about the renovations and what it entailed, I was coming in after driving for 8 hours and found the elevator terrifying with having kids with me. I also didn't anticipate 2 separate holds on my card. I know this is something hotels can do, but not everyone has a spare $235 to not have access to when traveling. I called to better understand the card holds and while the gentleman on the phone did give me the information needed, I felt he lacked compassion with how much of an inconvenience this can be. I did not expect him to be able to do much, but a kind tone and even pretending to be apologetic can go a long way in how someone feels when ending the call. This was 1 of 3 hotels stayed at over the weekend, but the only one I will avoid for future trips.
