When we got into our room the first time thing we noticed was the awful odor, it
smelled like old, dirty laundry. The room appeared to be half cleaned. There was a half used toilet paper roll left in the bathroom, stained and grungy towels oh and it gets worse, when I turned the TV on for my son 5 year old, it was on porn. When i called the office, there was no answer. We decided to sick it out for the night. It was loud, the doors were slamming all night long, half dressed women in and out all hours of the night as if it were brothel of some sort rather than a hotel. We checked out first thing the next morning. After searching for a vacancy at any other hotel and having no luck we decided to give the Bluebird Inn another chance. They had one room available, the woman had remembered us from the previous night. Which made me think maybe this room would actually be decent. However after paying for the night (mind you they only accept cash) the office attendant who was the supposed "manager" begins yelling at me and accuses me of stealing her pillow. we were in a rush to get out of there and find another available hotel that morning, so i let her know i would check in case it was accidentally loaded in the trunk that morning. She was still extremely rude and unprofessional and then went onto tell me i also smoked in the room which is non smoking. Mind you i do not smoke! At this point i was just done with it. I went and checked our car and as i had already knew no pillow other than ours from home. (never use hotel pillows) I returned to the office to inform her i didnt have the pillow and would like a refund and we would not be staying another night. I was offended, their rooms are horrible, and the staff even worse. she continued to tell me i stole her pillow and not just her pillow but her pillow case too. She refused to give me a refund and stated she never gave me a receipt and there was no proof i was there or gave her any money. Now i knew she was rude and incredibly unprofessional but to refuse a refund for a room i never went into, and wouldnt have paid her for in the first place had she thrown her accusations at me before accepting the money. This isnt a motel its a joke and a scam. Full of miserable and unprofessional staff.
If you're looking for an hourly rate and a cheap hooker this would be the perfect establishment for you.
