This is outrageous. Somehow my original post has been edited to remove some constructive comments I had added. Everything in the modified post below is accurate, but here is what has been removed: “Frank is nice and engaging to an extreme fault. He is starving for conversation and will constantly seek you out (including finding you on your privat patio). Once he has your ear, it is extremely difficult to escape. If you like very long conversations, this would be a good place for you).
Our stay at the Blooming Gardens was filled with positive experiences including: the romantic charm of the beautifully restored historic inn, the amazing gardens, the delicious breakfasts, the exceptional hospitality from Frank and Dolly, the playfully hidden chocolates throughout the room and more.
The Inn and the rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and overflowing with eclectic collection of antiques.
When I returned to retrieve a jacket I left behind, Frank and Dolly returned it in a nice bag...and then went a step further and added some Lindt chocolates. They just aim to please in every way.
I found even the house cats to be very friendly.
I highly recommend the impressive and expansive Duke Botanical gardens.
