The bathroom shower was running all night, and despite our attempts to get it fixed, it just kept going. We couldn’t stop the constant noise, which made it impossible to get a good night’s sleep.
To make matters worse, we found cockroaches in our room. I’m all for a clean and comfortable stay, but this was just unacceptable. We requested that our room be cleaned, but that never happened. The front desk informed us that "legal paperwork" had to be filled out to have our room cleaned. It’s frustrating when you expect basic cleanliness and service, and neither were provided.
The air conditioner didn’t work properly either, which made the room uncomfortably warm. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the bathroom tiles in the shower were broken and missing, which made the whole space look even more run-down and neglected.
Honestly, I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Southwest Florida, and this one takes the cake as the worst. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning. The lack of attention to detail and basic maintenance is inexcusable.
