First, was slightly concerning that there was a couple managing the front desk with their small child at 11:15 pm.
Halls were filled with slamming doors, arguments, and people screaming most of the night.
Moved a pillow on bed to reveal an awesome cigarette stain on the sheets that housekeeping didn't want to bother at least putting at the foot of the bed. Comforter had several burn marks and holes.
Fridge didn't fit properly into its space, it wobbled badly, trying to open it was a pain. Door missing from entertainment center/dresser. Mirror halfway covered by furniture.
No hot water in shower. Room temp at best.
Vacuum started right outside our room at 7:45 am. No sleeping in here even if you'd like to.
Went to eat breakfast 40 minutes before it was supposed to close, was met with a mess. Dirty tables, cereal everywhere, waffle area a mess. 3 sugary kid cereals available, waffle maker, and some mini muffins. No fruit, no juice, no eggs, no meats. We decided not to eat there.
Bathroom was in shambles. Missing paint, tub was dirty and very chipped. Ceiling was a mess.
There were several silver bracelets on the floor near the nightstand when we arrived. It was very clear the room hadn't been cleaned well. Hairs all over bathroom floor that weren't ours. 🤢
Pool seems to not have any posted hours, kids were outside swimming and screaming right outside our room until 1230 am. People seemed to be riding up on their bicycles to use the pool. Who knows what went on out there after we finally fell asleep.
It doesn't help that you have to sign a waiver that says they aren't responsible for damage to your vehicle. It's right by the expressway and there were a lot of shady looking people hanging around.
Front desk staff was nice but that was about the only good thing.
Do yourself a favor and stay at the Best Western down the road. Clean, safe, great pool area, lovely breakfast, better safer area, and generally nicer.
