I recently stayed at the Avid Hotel in Smyrna, Tennessee, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From check-in to check-out, the service provided by Eddie, Josh, and Kurt was nothing short of amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home.
The hotel itself is a true example of minimalism, which I absolutely love. The rooms are very comfy and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The walk in shower is absolutely massive. They have 48 channels of cable internet on the massive televisions in each room, blazing fast wifi and I especially enjoyed the large common area on the first floor, where coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day. There are also snacks and drinks available for purchase, making it convenient to grab a quick bite—perfect for those late-night cravings!
Breakfast featured scrambled eggs, potatoes and varied proteins each day (sausage, turkey sausage, bacon crumbles). Multiple sweets, toast, bagels, cereals, hot oatmeal with all the fixins and for you boring people…. Yogurt. There is a juice bar with 4 types of juice and milk available.
One of the best parts is the hotel’s prime location. It’s within walking distance of both Cinco de Mayo and Cracker Barrel restaurants, which is fantastic for dining options. Plus, there is plenty of free parking, making it easy to come and go.
I stayed here while my Peterbilt was in the shop next door at Rush Truck Centers, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn about their special rate for guests whose trucks are being serviced. This thoughtful touch is much appreciated and made my stay even better. Overall, I highly recommend Avid Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the Smyrna area!
