I am writing to formally request a full refund for my reservation at America’s Best Value Inn, Jackson, Tennessee, booked through Super.com for November 6th to November 7th. My stay was abruptly cut short due to the unacceptable and hazardous conditions encountered upon arrival.
When my daughter, my 7-month-old grandson, and I checked in, the young woman at the front desk, though pleasant, provided us with keys that were noticeably reused and in poor condition, marked with faded and overwritten numbers. Upon entering the room, we were met with deeply concerning conditions:
1. Unsanitary Environment: Fecal matter was visibly spread on the walls, creating an immediate health hazard.
2. Safety Hazards: The window was shattered, and the screen was cut open, raising serious security concerns.
3. Damaged and Broken Furniture: The room contained broken furniture, further indicating neglect.
4. Unclean Beds: Both queen beds appeared to have been previously used, presenting an unhygienic sleeping environment.
These conditions were appalling and posed a significant threat to the health and safety of my family, especially my young grandson. We immediately reported our concerns to the front desk. The attendant apologized and suggested we contact Super.com for a refund, assuring us that she would verify our experience with management upon your inquiry.
We left the premises and sought alternative accommodations that met the minimum standards of safety and cleanliness. Due to these unacceptable conditions!
I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value safety, security, and peace of mind for yourself and your loved ones. Despite my numerous attempts to seek reimbursement due to the extremely poor and unsafe conditions during my stay, the management has consistently refused to address my concerns. The hazards present posed serious safety risks, and I spent my time worrying and making other arrangements. If you’re looking for a safe, clean, and comfortable place, do not consider this location. Your well-being and security should always come first.
