I’ve been coming to this practice for 10 years. I’ve worked in a hospital for 20. This doctor is caring, insightful, thorough, and one of the most knowledgeable providers I’ve known. I’ve come to my appointments and gone right in, and I’ve also waited in the lobby. When it comes to my healthcare and the care of my daughter, who has Down syndrome, I’m simply not in a rush.
For those complaining about waiting. After working in the ED for several years, I can tell you that a lot of these primary care doctors have to stop what they’re doing and take calls from ED doctors so they can appropriately treat the patient in crisis.
So I can understand a review that’s mad because they had to wait, I understand the frustration. Most people want instant service, no matter where they go. What I can’t understand is the comments about the staff. The doctor, the nurse practitioner, and the PA are wonderful providers. While they do have a couple new people that I don’t really know yet, the majority of the staff that has been there for many years are kind, and helpful.
I also know that this doctor sees quite a bit of the hospital staff because they know his work ethic.
So I would say to you, if you don’t like them, there’s a ton of other providers. I’ve worked for a few of them over the years, and trust me, you’ve got it really good with Dr. Srivastava. If you want excellent healthcare, know that when you come to your appointment, you might have to wait because there are others that need just a little more care and time.
