First of all, Dr. Ahmad is incredible and is like family to her patients. She knows everyone by name and uses a more personal approach than just a chart. I’ve been a patient of hers since I was 2 along with my entire family, so for the past 26 years she has been family. I have numerous rare conditions that she has been apart of fighting for correct care and has been a HUGE support system for all of us even outside of medical. She has held me while I fought for my life, cried with me when I was done fighting the fight and has always given me the courage to keep going. She fights hard for her patients 24:7. This review is NOT reviewing Dr Ahmad because I would give her beyond 5 stars. This review is for COREMED who took over her practice. COREMED has made her lose so many patients. They don’t answer their phone so you can’t even get ahold of Dr (in fact, they have their phones on silent), refilling prescriptions is impossible and when you need to be seen that day they tell you they have zero openings for a week which is NOT how Dr has ran her practice in over 26 years. Yes sometimes, she says you can wait a day, however when you can’t she atleast can hold you over while you wait for your day. She has also always called to check on patients to make sure they are doing better. regardless you still need to be able to contact your doctor and when you can’t, what do you do? You can’t even talk to Doctor on the phone for a brief question without getting charged a full office appointment. She is being completely controlled with no say in what happens because if she had say, this wouldn’t be happening to her patients. If you need to get ahold of Dr, you have to show up at the office. I understand there has to be some change, but these changes are putting a bad name on a doctor who goes above and beyond for her patients. This company has taken over all the hard work and the positive practice she has built. This company only cares about money and not the well being of Doctors patients. She works so incredibly hard and she deserves a team who not only respects and takes care of her, but takes care of her patients like she always has. Makes me incredibly angry to see her practice go down in the hands of this company! She made this decision to better her practice and have help that she didn’t have before, in turn, they’ve lost a lot of loyal patients due to their carelessness. If Doctor knew this was going to happen, she would’ve continued her practice on her own. Shame on you COREMED. 1 star doesn’t even describe your company.
