There is a pharmacist named Michelle Bartmess who needs to be re-educated. She refused to give me the syringes I needed to take my medicine and stated I needed a prescription for them. She also stated my medication wasn't vital. She tried to sell me a whole box of insulin syringes. I guess she doesn't know the difference between SubQ and IM injections! Where the hell did this person get her education! I am a Registered Nurse who has worked in the medical field for over 30 years, and I am appalled by her. I've been on my medicine for more than 10 years. Of course, I always have to ask for the syringe because they never remember, but I have always been able to get them. I've never complained. I needed to take my medicine, so I went to Publix pharmacy to get a syringe without any problems. They stated this happens all the time with Walmart pharmacy. Oh BTW I had no problem ordering syringes ONLINE THROUGH WALMART! Just pure common sense if you have a prescription for a medication that needs injected, whether it be for B12, Testosterone, ect, you need a syringe. I am a patient advocate. Therefore, I will not let this go, no matter how high up the Walmart chain I need to go...
