Read MoreI seldom get to this area of the county, but it’s generally always a pleasure shopping here. From the ample and well spaced parking, to store cleanliness and organization of products (would like a cart sanitizing station entering near the pharmacy, couldn’t hurt). They have seasonal and clearance aisles that actually make sense. Most of it is wide enough for people to shop in opposite directions.
I thought I’d drop a commendation for my checker named Fawn today. She was pleasant and bagged similar items together, double bagged a super heavy one and she couldn’t have been nicer. The long line just to get to self checkout was insane, so I took the chance with real people we hope stores continue to employ. Looked around and noticed there were several available without waiting. Even w just a few items, it’s faster to avoid the self checkout here.
Bottom line, it’s not sketchy like the one on Missouri (even the parking lot there feels a bit dangerous), so, I’ve been avoiding the big stores and shopping neighborhood markets on Highland in Clearwater and Ulmerton & Starkey. Easier to get what I need, happy employees and generally polite customers. Kudos to the management here. They keep it clean and stocked, please if possible - place cart wipes on the East entrance near the pharmacy.
Avoid some of the other large Pinellas Co Walmart stores, worth the few extra miles to feel safe and valued shopping here instead.
