The office is far behind on technology, every month I was receiving bills for services that were supposed to be completely covered by my insurance. So every month I would have to call his 3rd party medical billing associates to have it corrected, but even after the bills were corrected I received a very odd letter threatening my credit score if I didn't pay by such date, at the bottom of the letter it stated, "having good credit is essential and a negative remark affects your future".Also, if you have blood tests ran or any lab-related testing, Dr. Vrable tells you to expect a call within a week with the results but never actually follows up, and getting through to this office is not easy. His office also does not have a patient portal so as a patient, the only way to get test results is to physically drive to the office and hope the receptionist can find your results among the many unorganized patient files (All paper).Aside from the practice being very behind on times, Dr. Vrable is not what I would describe as a passionate family doctor where his patients are a priority to him. At my last visit, I was scheduled at 11:45 just to have my blood pressure medication refilled. I sat in a room for 55 minutes before I told one of his STNAs that I had to pick my son up from school in 20 minutes and that I'm going to have to leave and reschedule if he wouldn't have my prescription written within the time frame. His assistant came back and told me that he will be with me in 2 minutes. After 15 extra minutes of extra waiting, I told them that I was leaving, and that's when the receptionist apologized and informed me that he was having lunch with a pharmaceutical rep.In conclusion, if you're looking for a new family physician, I would not recommend Dr. Vrable. Your time and money will be wasted if your looking for a thorough and passionate family doctor.
