Varshnee Associates in Miami Beach

Dr. Varshnee has treated a dear person of mine for quite some time now. Before we came to her service, many psychiatrists said that this person was past the time to be seen as an outpatient and should be admitted to an institution immediately and most likely need to seek legal help to do so. Dr. Varshnee read her case and told us there was a possibility she didn’t need to be admitted yet. I told Dr. Varshnee that the person does not speak English well or understand it 100%. Dr. Varshnee replied, "I do not speak Spanish, but when two people want to communicate with each other, there is always a way.” However, you will have to give me time to work and patience. I cannot disclose the person's problems for confidentiality issues, but there were many. Long story short. She is now a completely different person. Dr Varshney is amazing. I was so nervous at first because I’ve never talked to a psychiatrist before and I found her online. I didn’t think I would be able to open up to someone I’ve never met before via zoom but Dr Varshney made it such a great experience that I immediately trusted her. She has so much knowledge, not only about how your brain works/thinks but about so many different medications and how it affects your body. I feel like after each session with her I learn something new and can apply it to help my lifestyle. Every day I feel a little bit better and it’s all thanks to Dr Varshney. I would 100 percent recommend her!

Dr Varshney was so helpful during my difficult time. I was going through a divorce and really needed some guidance and support. I am a physician myself, so it was important for me to find someone I connected with and trusted. She took the time to understand what I was going through and came up with a plan that she and I followed together. She was compassionate when I had setbacks, but also firm in her recommendations and didn't let me make excuses, which I truly appreciate. I have come out on the other end stronger and more at peace, and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone motivated and willing to do the hard work on themselves.

Dr. Varshney is very professional, pleasant, intuitive and knowledgeable; able to advise on a wide variety of topics. She encourages a natural holistic wellness approach to life that is extremely beneficial and easy to adopt. Fast speaker so must listen well. Warm, inviting, sterile office atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Over the past 8 years, and multiple moves, I have seen a number a different psychiatrists and would say that out of all of them, Dr. Varshney is the best. She is very thorough and makes sure she understands your history and actually confirms you have the correct diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Varshney does not accept insurance and has very reasonable cash prices. I am even able to have appointments in the evenings and Saturday afternoons. The office is very calming and there is ample parking. Dr. Varshney does a lot of education and I appreciate this very much. Since there is a lot to discuss and educate on she will talk fast which I love. I never feel like I'm wasting my time, energy, or money when I have an appointment. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the care I have received and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Varshney.

From the moment you step into her office you feel at ease. Dr. Varshney is definitely honest and caring yet professional and helpful. She’s here to ensure you can continue life in the best way you can. I definitely recommend to give her a chance if you’re on the fence about who to trust.

How does one describe someone so special? General descriptions such as “kind, compassionate, great listener, the best work ethic I’ve seen, care for the patients to a degree that one wouldn’t find in 99% of the doctors, spiritual healer, life coach and mentor”…All of these are descriptions, but what’s behind each one of them, the actions, the experience; that’s the essence of every word describing Dr. Varshney’s care for her patients. From the moment we met for the first time, I felt in my heart a connection to Dr. Varshney that I have never felt towards anyone, except my family members. I knew instantly that she’s the one person whom I can put my life in her hands, let her inside my mind without any fear of being hurt, judged…or the worst fear for some of us, being thrown in a hospital. There have been so many instances, more than I can count when my life was hanging by a very thin thread, ready to break at any moment. Those were the moments when Dr. Varshney’s actions, care and compassion were able to bring back to light what was into a bottomless hole of darkness. There wasn’t a single time when I called, that she wasn’t there for me, during a crisis or just a regular day. I find this funny now, after all the work we’ve been doing together so far, but there were times when all I wanted was to hear her voice. That on its own had such a calming effect, that none of the anti-anxiety medications were able to achieve so fast. Dr. Varshney, you are “the best medication” ever! There was this instance when she was on vacation overseas, and I remember calling her every single day, just to hear her voice. We can probably all agree that most of the therapists, psychiatrists, doctors…maybe even us would find this very annoying. Most would place an answering machine on, enjoy their vacation and deal with patients when they return. “If you have an emergency call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.”, the typical line on doctor’s answering machines. That’s not the case with Dr. Varshney. Vacation, or not, day or 1AM she’s always been there for me. Once she got to know me, almost as I know myself, or even better…she was the one checking on me, because she knew that I wasn’t going to ask for help. This is not liability, doctor fear, concern for their practice or license. This is the most genuine form of care that I’ve ever received from a person and it has always reflected in the actions she took, the tone of her voice, her positivity and warmth. Dr.Varshney taught me what gratitude means, what living a quality life feels like, what peace and acceptance feel like. With her gentle guidance, warmth, the wonderful safety feeling that she was able to instill in me, Dr. Varshney took me to such a higher level of consciousness that I never even knew it existed. “I ONCE WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I SEE” describes the best what she was able to do with someone who didn’t see anything but darkness for the most part of their life. Dr. Varshney is one of a kind, a very rare precious person, that’s hard to come by in the medical world, let alone in personal settings. Dr. Varshney is not a simple MD, she’s someone way beyond that, someone who can help you reach higher steps in your life, someone who’s able to heal wounds that have never healed on their own, she’s someone who can help you reach your full potential in this lifetime. I highly recommend her so far. I just had my first appointment and I felt very comfortable with her and everything we have discussed. She works towards fixing the problem and making sure you don't have to be medicated for life. That's exactly the type of doctor everyone should want. I can't wait till my next appointment!

I've been a long time patient of Dr. Varshney and she is an extraordinary doctor and human being. My visits with her have become more infrequent as a testament to my growth/well-being under her long term care. She runs a professional practice which she caters to a small group of patients who appreciate the range of her expertise/services and accessibility. Dr Varshney offers both psychotherapy and psychiatry (med management) but customizes session to fit her patients needs and maximize success- e.g. Drafting professional letters, coordinating dr referrals/labs (to name only a few). I find her approachable and trustworthy demeanor to be a rare find in the field. She is solution oriented and a highly enlightened individual. I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for a mental health professional.
