My daughter is a first time mom, I accompanied her to our baby’s first month check up. Receptionist is a young girl, with poor customer service skills, not focused . She made a mistake on his name - in his immunization record. - we brought it up to her attention and didn’t correct it. Then the medical assistant wrote the incorrect name on the actual record we received from the Hospital. They gave us another one, and still didn’t get it right - for the third time.
Also, the waiting area was dusty, and floor looked dirty. Besides that, they took too long from him to be seen, they claimed that they only had 1 Doctor, but the three times we have been there, it’s an easy 2 to 3 hour waiting time to be seen- even with an appointment.
One evening we called with concerns about our 2 month old baby, as I began to explain our concerns, the doctor interrupted me.
He told me that it would have to wait until the next day, and for us to make an appointment to take him to his clinic .
We didn’t feel validated, and as if our baby’s concerns were not important for him to even try to address it that same evening.
We googled possibilities and tried to take care of the matter ourselves. But then again, we really needed the Pediatrician to give us information and help with our questions and concerns . We are not satisfied, and because we will be moving out of town, we are writing this review so future parents bring their concerns right away and not allow to be brushed off, like they did to us.
We really hope that where we move to, we find a Pediatrician who is genuinely concerned for the well being of their patients … We took our baby to another pediatrician locally and we had a better experience. Place was very clean, staff alert & attentive and the Physician Assistant listened to our concerns…
