So grateful for my float experience today. If only it were possible to have a float pod for your bed 😅 Staff were super supportive, personable, and knowledgeable. It was a relaxed vibe without feeling "stuffy" about it, iykyk 😉 I am 23 weeks pregnant and glad that I took this time to care for myself in this way. I tend to get claustrophobic and hate to feel trapped. I also can feel sketched out by complete darkness (thanks PTSD.) Fortunately, I felt so comfortable and safe, I was able to almost close the pod completely, only leaving it cracked by placing a small rolled towel, and I mainly did that for a bit of air flow. I also was able to spend the majority of my float with the light off. I liked that to turn the light on and off, as well as to open & shut the pod, it was super accessible, so I felt I had control. I didn't realize how bad my body needed this, to take the pressure off my body. I had chose the heart chakra and singing bowls sound to play the entire time since it was my first float. It was at a perfect volume and honestly sometimes I was in such a deep meditative state, I wouldn't even hear it. I want to also speak on how much it helped me to heal my relationship with my body and connect with my baby. I felt as if I was floating in a cozy womb myself. I was able to be in my body without feeling overwhelmed with all the folds and heaviness. I was able to take a moment to truly appreciate my body as a portal, and that was powerful for me. I know this is quite a lengthy review 😅 but felt it deserved it. Definitely recommend going yourself and it would make a wonderful gift for someone you care about ✨
