It is just as important to give a lengthy review when an experience is positive as is done when the experience is negative.
I arrived at a bustling Target Altamonte Springs store on Black Friday at around 5:45 looking to purchase a Beats Studio headphones for an upcoming long haul trip. When I entered the electronics section the Beats headphones 🎧 were all gone, but I was not too disappointed as I saw two floor models that I hoped would be for sale. I approached an employee in the area for help as she was helping another customer. She politely replied that she would assist me when she was done. I noted that as she dealt with the two remaining customers in her line she kept glancing at me as if to non-verbally communicate that she had not forgotten me.
When she was finally free, she immediately came over to assist me. I explained that I wanted the Beats headphones, with a cord, as I already own a Powerbeats Pro. She scanned the codes to confirm availability. They had no more in stock.
Typically, the interaction would end but this amazing associate decided unsolicited to check the stock of surrounding stores. The nearest store with one in stock was 40 minutes away! She voluntarily called the store to ensure they were really in stock and available for sale. Thank you Tori for going above and beyond. Thank you also to Paul and his team in the electronics department at the Mount Dora store for their professionalism and grace to a customer who was obviously stressed about a headphones purchase.
Tori and Paul, you are incredible assets to your organization.
