Yikes! Lol. Went to see an ENT doctor (was referred). Doctor visit was literally around five minutes. Upon seeing me, it felt as if I was almost wasting the doctors time lol. He did greet me and did shake my hand when I left. He seemed friendly? Well a couple days later I get the bill. The bill was a whopping $98.00. For five minutes! LOL!
So I called the billing department. I wasn't trying to get out of paying anything I understand that doctor visits cost money. However, I was just trying to seek some type of relief. I didn't just want to cough up $100.00 especially for five minutes when all he did was check my nose, look down my throat w/ a tongue depressor and tell me there was nothing in my CT scan. To some $100 may not but worth saying anything about, but if you got multiple other medical bills, plus other bills, plus rent/mortgage, groceries, etc. etc. $100 could be a nice amount just to fork over. Fortunately I have insurance or it would've been more. Anyway, the lady I spoke w/ I could tell was stern but we were able to work something out.
All in all I'm not discouraging anyone from coming here. I've been to the Christie Clinic on Windsor and was treated well in the past. But this particular experience was somewhat disappointing to me. While I'm grateful that nothing was wrong, it was disappointing to be charged what I was charged in that little amount of time (maybe I just don't understand how process works, idk?). So just know, if you come here there is no financial assistance they offer if your bill is less than $500 so you will have to contact them and work something out (this is what was communicated to me).
