This has been my primary doctor for 27 years until today. I trust Doc Pete and always respected his opinion. I've been suffering for a few days now and decided it's time to see the Doc. I called in to schedule an appointment and apparently it's been too long since my last visit so I had to be "treated like a new customer." I feel bad for "new customers." I was informed I had to wait up to two days for the blue cross blue shield verification. I told her "no way I'm in too much pain to wait that long." She told me maybe I should go to the ER. Last I checked secretaries don't have PHD'S. It told her I have been seeing Dr.Peter my entire life and this is ridiculous, I need to get in tomorrow. She told me she can call me once the insurance clears which will most likely not be until noon meaning I most likely won't be getting in tomorrow. I hate to leave this practice but I refuse to deal with poor customer service, especially in this industry. After hanging up I called another doctor and got right in.
